The CDEC employment service actively participates in joint actions for manpower development.

Assistance for the development of job readiness projects

Our employment service assists promoters in the development of job readiness project and in finding the necessary funding. As a part of the "Budget d'initiatives locales" (BIL), it analyses projects submitted to the approval committee and provides guidance to projects that have received funding. This budget is provided by Emploi-Québec.

Table de concertation et d'action en employabilité de Centre-Nord (TCAECN) (joint action group focusing on job readiness)

Objectives:

  • Needs analysis and linking service offers

  • Development of joint action and partnership projects

  • Support to organizations offering job readiness services

Each year, the TCAECN organizes a community forum on manpower issues, as well as training sessions for job counsellors. It also offers tools for the promotion of resources and employability services.
